Surveillance camera shows wallet being stolen


THEFT, CHIPPEWA ROAD: A resident stopped by the station Friday afternoon because someone stole his wallet.


The elderly resident was shopping at Heinen the day before and left his wallet at the register. When the man arrived home, he realized the wallet was missing and returned to the store.


The victim lost credit cards, which he canceled; $80 in cash and other personal items. He was advised to call moncler us police if any suspicious transactions were made on his credit cards.


VANDALISM, BARR ROAD: A pool was vandalized on sometime between Sept. 5 and Sept. 8. The victim reported the damage Friday.


WARRANTS, ROUTE 21: A 33yearold male resident was given a lift to jail Sept. 15 because of several outstanding warrants.


The warrants, from Ottawa Moncler Outlet County, were for criminal trespass, impersonating a police officer and disorderly conduct.


The wanted man was a passenger in a Corvette that was stopped on Brecksville Road for not having its front license plate.


He was held for extradition to Ottawa County.


FRAUD, AT STATION: A resident noticed a $299.75 discrepancy on his American Express account.


The charge was for a oneyear subscription to an Internet security service. The service was a for a woman in South Korea.


American Express advised the victim to file the report.


PETTY THEFT, ROUTE 21: A Broadview Heights man left his wallet, containing $130 in cash and credit cards at the Brecksville Road United States Post Office hub.


The wallet was left early on Sept. 14 and when the victim wife returned home later that day, in the mailbox was the wallet.


Along with it was a handwritten note that said, "Found at post office please forgive me for keeping the ugg womens shoes money I am looking for work and need the money to buy food. All cards are here and not used."


The note was written on a sheet that had Mapquest directions to the home from Rockledge Drive in Brecksville.


Sure enough all of the credit cards were there and the only item missing was the cash. The victim filed the report in case he was the victim of identity theft. Sept. 14, heard the notsosweet sound of a loud exhaust.


The blue Ford Ranger was stopped and behind the wheel was a 32yearold Brecksville woman. She said she was on her way home from working at a restaurant in town.


Turns out she had several suspensions and was taken into custody.


In the truck, officers found a bag that had several drug use items inside of it. There were 18 pieces of blue wax paper commonly used to hold heroin, two spoons with burnt bottoms, two syringes and a 3 1/2inch long, handmade, tin foil pipe with UGG BAG steel wool at one end which is commonly used to smoke crack cocaine.


The woman, unlike most other addicts, readily admitted that the items were hers, that she was addicted to heroin and was on her way to buy some when she got stopped.


The woman was cited for driving under suspension, possessing dangerous drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia, excessive muffler noise and driving an unsafe vehicle.
