LIVERPOOL
Dustin Colquitt Jersey , Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Anfield finally welcomed its latest signing Friday, as new manager Jurgen Klopp was presented at a crowded press conference.
Interest in the successor to sacked Brendan Rodgers was intense as the new boss made his debut.
The former Dortmund coach, 48, will take charge of his first came on Oct. 17 when Liverpool head to London for a premiership match against Tottenham.
Klopp, describing himself as a 'football romantic', said one of the biggest problems for Liverpool was that five, six of seven clubs can win the championship. He also described him as a 'normal guy'.
He told the media: ""We have to develop. This would be a good moment for restarting. It's only important we play our own game, we feel the confidence and the trust of the people. It's important the players feel the difference from now on. They have to think they can reach the expectations of the people. You have to change from doubters to believers.
""I'm not here just because LFC was calling. I believe in the potential of this team. Everything is there. Now we need to work.""
He added a tantalizing prediction: ""When I sit here in four years I'm pretty sure we will have won a title.""
In an earlier interview released today on the club's own television channel LFC-TV, Klopp said becoming Liverpool's manager was 'one of the best moments of my life'.
Asked about his future at the Anfield Stadium, famed for its ear-shattering Kop Choir, Klopp said: ""I want to see it, I want to feel it, I want to smell it. I was here with Dortmund a few years ago and I was pretty excited. It's a great place. There are some great places in world football but this is the most special place.
He told LFC-TV that accepting the job after a four-month break was not a difficult decision for him.
Liverpool's CEO In Ayre said Klopp's appointment as Liverpool manager is a statement of intent from the US-based owners as they are sitting at the top table of European fooball.
Ayre said: ""We always say that we have great ambition at the club and it's always about continually improving, and in Jurgen we definitely feel that he's somebody who can take us forward.""
Liverpool's American chairman Tom Werner, who was at today's press call, said the club has appointed a world-class manager.
Werner commented: ""In Jurgen Klopp we have appointed a world-class manager with a proven track record of winning and someone who has the personality and charisma to reignite this football club and take the team forward.
""When an opportunity presents itself to acquire one of the most sought-after leaders in the game, it is something you have to pursue decisively and we are delighted he has accepted our invitation.""
It was all music to the ears of Liverpool's famous Kop Choir who have given the new arrival their seal of approval.
With Liverpool currently midway in the table, occupying 10th spot, the hope is Klopp will orchestrate an Anfield miracle to restore the Reds to a top place.

If you are an athlete, there is nothing worse than dealing with sports injuries. You’re lucky if you only have a single injury rather than lots of injuries stemming from just one place. As someone who had to end my love of running due to a chronic knee problem, I know the anguish and frustration.
However, you shouldn’t be too put down by a sports injury, because nowadays sports medicine can go a long way. It’s very important to tend to your mind, as well as your body, and it’s quite often overlooked. Below we’ll be looking at some ways of dealing with sports injuries, but hopefully you’ll never have to apply them!
Some people that play sports may receive what is called an acute traumatic injury while playing. These are pretty serious injuries that usually occur from one event experienced while at play. The worst thing about this type of injury is that it can shock your system due to its intensity when it occurs. In fact, if you can avoid an acute traumatic injury, it is in your best interest because injuries can be worse than you can imagine. Most people might want to stay away from a doctor, but if the injury is pretty bad, it would be the safest decision to make for your health. Another problem you may run into is becoming overly depressed, which means you need to do everything you can to stay focused on getting better. Healing is always encouraged if your mind is upbeat and you stay focused on getting better all the time.
Treating an injury discreetly is what most proper sports doctors will attempt to do. For example, unless the situation warrants more serious treatment, ice and rest are prescribed to reduce swelling. Other measures may include taking anti-inflammatory medicine. Additional treatments might be needed if you have a more substantial injury. You may find the first few days of recuperation from a sports injury difficult as you must rest lots. This is the reason for you needing self control so that you avoid exasperating your injury any further.
An immediate plan of action to get better fast should be your priority once your injury have been treated. Start thinking about what you would like to do and get it done while you are getting better. Start by jotting down everything you can do. It’s all about understanding you can now do things that you couldn’t have done before. This can be anything from going on a trip, visiting friends, and of course getting a little bit of exercise. The reason you are doing this is to help you not focus on the injury and keep busy. Finishing the list while you recover shouldn’t be a problem as long as you discipline yourself to do so.
There are lots of factors involved when dealing with an injury from sports. One of the biggest mistakes people do is trying to hurry up the healing process, which isn’t possible. Wasting your energy on t.
