EAGAN Authentic Jonathan Villar Jersey , Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed punt returner Marcus Sherels for a ninth season with his home state team.

Though he’s played sparingly at cornerback, Sherels has carved out a solid niche since latching on with the Vikings in 2010 out of a rookie tryout camp. On punt returns since 2012 Wholesale Tre'Quan Smith Jersey , he has an NFL-leading five touchdowns and 23 returns of 20-plus yards.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Sherels was raised in Rochester and played in college at Minnesota. His career average of 10.4 yards per punt return is the highest in Vikings history.
