WASHINGTON Asics Gel Lyte III Shoes Online , May 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Pacific Command said Sunday it has found that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) had launched a short-range ballistic missile.


In a statement, the command said it had detected the launch at 10:40 a.m. Hawaii time on Sunday (2040 GMT) and tracked the missile for six minutes until it landed in the Sea of Japan. It added that the launch occurred near Wonsan on the east coast of the DPRK.


"We are working with our Interagency partners on a more detailed assessment," the statement said, adding that the command continues to monitor the DPRK's actions closely.


The South Korean military also said the DPRK had test-launched a ballistic missile early Monday local time from the country's east coast.


South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said the missile flew some 450 km and was believed to be of the Scud type Asics Gel Lyte Shoes Online , which has a range of 300-500 km.


The DPRK has not made any announcement about the alleged launch.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit China later this year to attend events marking the 70th anniversary of victory in the world's anti-fascist war.


He is the first leader who has reportedly confirmed plans to attend the commemoration events in China.


Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said on Friday that China welcomes the Russian leader's plans to attend.


Interfax news agency reported on Thursday that Russian Presidential Administration chief Sergei Ivanov confirmed Putin's plan to visit China.


Ivanov had talks with Li Zhanshu, a visiting senior official from the Communist Party of China, on Thursday. Li is director of the CPC Central Committee's General Office.


A meeting between Putin and Li was held earlier on Thursday at which good wishes and greetings from the two presidents were exchanged.


Putin told Li that he expects President Xi Jinping will visit Moscow for celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War on May 9.


Putin said the two countries' joint celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of victory in World War II will "guard against attempts to beautify invaders Asics White Shoes Online , champion historical justice and protect world peace".


Li said Xi values highly the evolving Sino-Russian relationship and "cherishes the good personal relationship and friendship with his Russian counterpart".


The two leaders, who have met eight times in the past two years, "will maintain close contacts this year on bilateral and multilateral occasions", Li said.

KABUL, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis have arrived in Kabul, the NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) forces confirmed Wednesday.
